For last Saturday evening's organ recital Mr. Maughan Barnett selected pieces from the works of Lemmens, Vierne, Grieu-. Smart and Weiy. He opened with a majestic performance of Lemmen's "Triumphal March," which was followed by a delicate!}" expressed performance of the fifth movement from Louis Vierne's Opus 32. Smart's air. variations, finale and fugato received capable treatment, and pleasing renderings were given of Grieg's "Norwegian Dance" and Nevin's Venetian selections. Miss Fay Nezdar was warmly recalled after her effective singing of Oliver's "The Dancing Lesson," and Sullivan's "Poor Wand'ring One." Mr. Frank A. Stuchbury presided at the pianoforte. ORGAN RECITAL. After the evening service at the Unitarian church last evening. Professor Moor, a r.otc.l Pollssh organist who Is visiting the Dominion, gave his initial recital, which was highly appreciated. The visitor is a musician <>C high qualifications, and a brilliant executant on the organ and pianoforte.
