PERSONAL.
Mr. A. Harris, M.P. for' Waitemata, is in Wellington. Bishop Listoa, of Auckland, is at present visiting Dunedin. The Hon. \X. H. Afclutyre, MiXT., is visiting Auckland, and is staying at the Central. Mr. J. Nelson and Mr. A. Whately, of Wellington, are among the guests at the Grand Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Nathan, of Auckland, left Wellington by the lonic for England on Saturday. Dr. Patrick Marshall, formerly prin-. cipal of the Wanganui Collegiate School, has left en route for London. The Rev. R. Godfrey, of the Melanesian Mission staff, is expected to return to New Zealand about July 20. The Rev. G. H. Balfour, of First Church, Dunedin, has left for Melbourne on leave, accompanied Mrs. Balfour. Dr. Davis, who was until recently connected with the Health Department in Auckland, has taken up his residence in Frankton. Colonel and Mrs. Allen, who have been guests at Government House during the past weeik, left Auckland on their return to Morrinsville this morning. The Rev. Richard de Lanrbert. of Queenstown. has ibeen elected to succeed Archdeacon Curzon Siggers as vicar of St. Matthew's Church, DunedLn.
