FIGURES NOT READY. LOAN DOUBLY SUBSCRIBED. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The Prime Minister informs vout correspondent that it would be probably a fortnight before the final figures relating to the last financial year can be ■ presented to the public. Only to-day, on his return from Auckland, had he obtained details approximately showing the final position, although he was kept well aware of the main items daily. Regarding the London loan, he had received a cable stating that the total r subscriptions were ten millions, the applications numbering 5000, of which < those up to amounts for £1000 were allotted in full, the remainder receiving 40 per cent. He had been informed that the English Press comments considered the terms excellent, and as a result the war loan and colonial stock prices have much, appreciated. Mr. 'Massey's comment is that it is a very fine position.
