i His Excellency the Governor-General I -attended the Anzae memorial service at ~ the Town Hall yesterday morning. In ! the afternoon he was present at a parade of boy scouts and. girl guides at the Town Hall. This morning his Excel- . lency attended the opening ceremony ia , connection with the new block at St. '; John's College, Tainaki, and in the evening he will attend a re-union of \< naval officers at the Grand Hotel. The [\ Viscountess JelKcoe hunted with the Fakuranga hounds at Mount Roskill . this morning. Their Excellencies have ! no public engagements to-morrow, but on Friday will leave on a visit to the , Weikato district. At Mercer, on Friday afternoon, Lord Jellicoe will unveil a soldiers' memorial, and in the evening , at Hamilton Lady Jellicoe will present badges to the girl guides. Their Excellencies will visit Raglan on Saturday, where another memorial will be un- ! veiled, and a similar ceremony will be J performed at Morrinsville on Sunday. j On Monday they will pay a visit to Cami bridge. Before returning to Auckland i the Governor-General will spend several ■ days fishing at Tokaanu. During her ' visit to the Waikato district Lady ! Jellicoe will spend two days hunting. ! Their return to the city is not definitely fixed.
