GENERAL SYNOD.
CONFERENCE OF C_.M.S.
The New Zealand General Synod (Anglican) wHI open in Auckland next Thursday and will probably last for ten dayg or a fortnight. Seven pishops and about fifty clergy and laity will be present. It is eighteen years since the Synod sat in Auckland.
"During the week the Dominion Conference of the Church of England Men's Society will also be held. Delegates wSll attend from all over New Zealand. The conference will. be opened by Bishop Averill on Tuesday next at 2 p.m. in St. Matthews-' Schoolroom.',
