MINISTER OF EDUCATION.
The Hon. C. J. Parr (Minister of Education and Public Health) arrived in Auckland yesterday, accompanied by his private secretary (Mr. F. G. Matthews). He is inquiring closely into the typhoid outbreak at Mount Albert, and before he returns South he is to meet the suburban mayors to discuss the question of the -vater supply. To-day the Minister is visiting one or two of the city schools, and to-morrow he will attend "the Anzac Day memorial service in the Town Hall. On Thursday morning he has an important conference with the Auckland Education Board.
