KO SALE TO MINORS. TOKYO, April 21. The Japanese Diet has enacted the first prohibition law in the history of Japan, prohibiting the sale of intoxicating liquors to minora. Offenders will be fined -■£!.„ Sho Nemoto, a worker in the cause of the Women's Christian Temperance Union introduced the same bill every session since 1899; ' The budget appropriating £148,200,000 and the repeal of the« ban on women taking part in political' movements were also passed.— (A. and N.Z.
