AN EFFECTIVE SPRAY.
WHEAT UNTOUCHED.

Further experiments have been made with the Sydney doctor's solution for spraying bags of wheat, which prevents attacks by mice and rats. In one test 128 mice were placed ■in an iron tank on Wednesday, with sacks of wheat and cardboard boxes filled with bread previously sprayed with the solution. To-day the soals of the tsmk were broken. Mice were found to be dead, and no attempt had been made to. nibble the sacks oj boxes.—(A. and N'.JZ. Cable.)
