WASTED GEYSERS.
NEW ZEALAND SHOULD TTSEI THEM. 1 LONDON, April 5. The failure of New Zealand to make commercial use of its escaping steam geysers was deplored by Sir Thomas Robinson, former Agent-General for ( j Queensland, when lecturing to, the Society of Arts on "New Zealand." He said also that if the Alpine Club knew more about New Zealand's mounj tains they would send out climbers ' from England despite the distance. The 1 bonds connecting Australia and New Zealand must inevitably be strengthened to their mutual advantage and the I Empire's good.
