THE SENIOR DRAW. At the weekly tuee«ng of the A.X.1.. Executive last night. Mr. E. Phelan presiding, the junior committee was granted permission to put on curtain-raisers at each of the senior matches on the opening day on Saturday week. The players' insurance scheme in operation last year was adopted for the present season. Mr. E. Fox. a decorated returned soldier player, whose war Injuries have incapacitated him permanently from tbe Held, was elected a life member of the League. The draw for tbe first round of the senior matches was made as follows:— April 22.— City v. North Shore, at North Shore; Fire Brigade v. Marlst Brothers, No. 2 ground, Carlaw Park : Richmond v. Athletics, at Richmond: Ponsonby v. Newton, at No. 1 gronnd. Curlaw Park. April 2!). —City v. Fire Brigade, North Shore v. Newton, Richmond v. Marist Brothers, Ponsonby v. Athletics. May (J.—City v. Richmond. North Shore v. Eire Brigade, Ponsonbv v. Marist Brothers, Athletics v. Newton. May 13.—City v. Ponsonby, North Shore v. Richmond. Fire Brigade v. Newton. Athletics v. Maris: Brothers. Marlst Brothers Club announce a practice at Cai-Liw Park to-morrow afternoon, and Mangere Rovers a special meeting at Onehunga to-night.
