Leonard Edward Brasling (17), who pleaded guilty to having stolen GOl't of wire rope and 100 ft of manila rope from h. vessel in the harbour, was sent back to Weraroa Training Farm, where he had previously sojourned for previous dishonesty. Madge Windus (25), who pleaded guilty to the theft of a pair of pince-nez and a silver necklace, valued at £2, was represented by Mr. Singer, who stated that her "offence was dictated by the pinch of poverty. She was remanded for sentence until to-raorrow. Frank 'Wright wfts lined £2 for having been found on licensed premises during prohibited hours. TRAFFIC PROSECUTIONS. Tile following were fined for breaches of the traffic regulations (with cost* additional): —A. Allan, no front number and motor unattended, f1; A. K. G. Brown, no lights and motor unattended, £1; G.
