COMMISSION OF INQUIRY. OPERATION OF MARTIAL lAW. (Received 12.30 p.m.) CAPETtWN. April 11. In the House of Assembly. General Sjnuts announced that it was intended to appoint a judicial committee to inquire into tlie causes of the revolutionary movement on the Rand, the administration of martial law, the behaviour of natives during the troubles, Rnil whether the assaults made upon them were provoked. The committee will consist of Justices Sir Thomas Graham and Sir John Lange.— (it. and N.Z.)
