ATHLETIC RECORDS.
XEW FIGURES PASSED. (By Telegrarjh- —Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Amateur Athletic Council has received advice from Australia that Munro's shot put of 46ft OJin, and Sutherland's javelin throw of 172 ft lin, were passed ac Australasian records, and also that the proposed abolition of the one and three-mile walks in the championships was rejected. The Council passed H. E. Wilson's 120 yards hurdles in 15 l-5s at Wangaimi, and Oosterlaak's 220 yards in 21 4-5s at Wellington as Ne>>" Zealand records, avid will apply to have them recognised as Australasian records.
