PRICE OF BUTTER.
INCREASE OF 2D PER LB. The retail price of butter has been increased by the N.Z. Co-operative Dairy Company. For some few days past there has been considerable discussion regarding the company's attitude m holding to a retail price of 1/4 per lb for first grade butter despite an advance on the London market. The price is now 1/0 per lb, an increase of 2d on the previous quotation.
