MORE WORK WANTED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WIALHI, this day. The Mayor of Waihi (Mr. Donaldson) has been advised by the Minister of Public Works that over 90 men have registered as unemployed, seeking work on the Waihi-Athenree section of the East Coast railway. Thirty-four had been balloted for to fill the Minister's offer of immediate employment, leaving over 30 married and 30 single men still unemployed. The Mayor has urged the Minister to do his best to place these men, as the position of many of those out of work was serious.
