AUCKLAND BOWLING CENTRE. THE CHRISTMAS TOCRNAMENT. The Christmas tournament of the Aurkland Bowling Centre opens on Monday next at 0 a.m.. and given good weather the members of the 6a teams that nave entered for the champion rink competition should' have a very enjoyable holiday on the green. The arrangements have all been completed by the secretary. Mr. A. M. Bryden. the appointment of umpires for the various sections being :is follows: — Section A. Mr. E. B. Wright: section B. Mr. A. Parsons: section C. Mr. A. R. Graham: section D. Mr. A. Julian: section E. Mr. .r. 11. rrayee: section F. Mr. S. E. Lamb; section <;. Mr. J. P. Kilgour. The greens to be occupied will be Carlton. Dominion Road. Epsom. Mount Eden, Rerauera. Rorky Nook, and One" hunga. and competitors arc reminded that they must provide their own lnn--bei>. Section play will be in prozress on Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday, and on Wednesday evening at S o'clock the committee will meet at Mr. Rryden's office to make the draw for section winners. These will start play on Thursday morning at i> o'clock on the Tarlton green. Umpires are informed that the hearisisting of Messrs. W.'col'tman. C. W. Garrard, A. I'arsons and A. M.
