CHRISTIAN SCIENCE.
(To the Editor.) Sir.—ln the article, "What is Pain?" published in the "Star" Supplement of the 17th instant, the Christian Science toxtHbook (•'Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures;' by iVlary Baker Eddy) is erroneously referred to as "the foible of Christian SfcieiK*," thus implying that Christian Scientists use their tcxt-toook in place of the Bible. Christian Science is founded on the Bible, and at all its church services and in daily home study Christian Scientists use the authorised version of the Holy Scriptures commonly known as '"The Bible,"' and in conjunction with it the text-book ie utilised as a commentary, emphasising the spiritual meaning and practical application of the passages read from the Bible.—l am, etc., 'iLIDGK B'DIX.
