APPROVAL BY P. G. ASSEMBLY. (By Telegraph.— rress Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. Ths Presbyterian Assembly received the report of a committee appointed to draw up an answer to the appeal of the Lambeth Conference. It declared "That, as far as the Presbyterian Church was concerned, the Lambeth proposals for mutual recognition and ra-ordina-tion remove no obstacle to the reunion of Christendom. The committee recommended that a copy of the report be sent to the Archbishop of Canterbui - 3' and the acting-Primate of the Anglican ChurcJi in Xew Zealand, with an intimation of willingness of the Presbyterian Church to confer with representatives of the Anglican Church on the question of «c*-operati'on <jf the two churches as may pave the way to ultimate union/ , Thie was unanimously agreed to.
