CHRISTIAN UNITY.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUXEDIX, Wednesday. At tiie Presbyterian General Assembly this morning a resolution bearing upon it'he euicoiiragcmcnt of the faith «nd order movement, which seek? for the promotion of Christian unity throughout Christendom, was moved by the Rev. W. Gray Dixon, of Du'nedin, seconded by the Rev. James Milne, cf Tliame.-, and unanimously adopted. A commission was also appointed to keep in touch with the movement, which originated in America, and in connection with which a large and representative conference was held in August of last 3'ear at Geneva.
