A DARING PRISONER.
ROBBED A POLICE STATION. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) XAUMARUNUI, this day. William Arthur Edward Atkinson, charged in Court with having escaped from lawful custody, and with breaking and entering Taumarunui Police Station and stealing therefrom £5 13/ and a service revolver with leather holster, the property of the Government. on November 12, pleaded guilty to both charges, and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
