CHURCH AND DIVORCE.
PRE3BYTERLAN RESOLUTION. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. The Presbyterian General Assembly, on the motion of the Rev. Professor Cumming, resolved, '"That the Assembly protest against the legislation which has made divorce possible as a sequel to the voluntary separation of husband and wife, and demand that recent legislation be repealed." The Assembly resolved to meet in St. Andrew's Church, Auckland, on November 15, 1922.
