N.S.W. ELECTIONS.
AMENDING THE LAW. (■Received 9.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The chief features of the Parliamentary Elections Amendment Bill, introduced in the Assembly, are compulsory enrolment, the signing of newspaper articles and letters commenting on the elections, and extension of polling hours to eight in the evening. The proportional representation system is retained, but is simplified.— (A. and N.Z.)
