AUSTRALASIAN FOOTBALLERS.
A SUBSTANTIAL WIN. (Received 11.SO a.m.) LONDON, November 23. Five thousand spectators witnessed the St.. Helens football match. The Australasians' choice of a team was restricted by illness and injuries. The game was fast, play travelling from end to end of the field repeatedly. At times the crowd grew indignant on account of frequent Australasian infringements of the rules. At half-time the score was: Australasia 8, St. Helens 3. Vest and Ryan scored tries and Vlorder a goal. Bradbury scored a try for St. Helens. In the second half Caples and Caretairs got tries and Craig a goal for Australasia, while Goroley scored a try and McGloglin a goal for St. Helens, the totals being:— Australasia l(i St. Helens 8 — (A. and X.Z.
