THE NEW SERVICE. TO OPERATE FROM 19TH INST. Further 'pa.rtieula.Ts to 'hand regarding tlhe additional railway time-table aiterations to be introduced in the Auckland district, show that tine curtailed service will not oommence to operate until Monday, the lOtjh inst. It was originally intended to ■bring it into farce on Monday next, t>ut it was found tfhnt all t/he airrangements could not be effected 'by that daite 'hence the alteration in dates. Aa stated yesterday under the new ondit?ons the Rotorua and Thames expresses will ibe combined between Auckland and Morrinsville, and one train only •will leave Auckland for Riotorula. daUy at 9.5 a_ra., in lieu of the Thames and Rotoruia. expresses, the departing times of which are 9.12 a-m. and 10 ajn. respectively. A connpetion will be made at Morrinsville for Thames and Waihi. The connection with the Pukcmiro "nd the Cambridge brandies will also be altered to fit in with the running of the AucklandRotorua train.
