SAYS MR. SCOTT. (By Telegraph. -Press Association.) CHRISTOHURCH, this day. Asked if he had anything to say ahout Mr. McCullough'e "statement that his two colleagues on the Arbitration Court had broken a pledge to hire respecting a gentlemen's agreement. Mr. Scott gave the statement an unqualified denial. He stated no such promise was asked for.
