GOLD FIND AT REEFTON.
j Details regarding the new discovery ■of gold-bearing lodes at Reefton point to possible important developments The find was made by Messrs. McVicar and Hurley at Alexander River, near Reefton A large reef three to eight feet in width has been exposed on the top of a hill, in a position that will give 1600 ft of backs. Another large reef hue iilao been located. The reef is carrying visible gold, and the stone also assays well which does not* how gold. The find i> 1G miles from either Reefton or Ikamatua railway stations.
