FINANCE PORTFOLIO.
MR. STEWART TO TAKE IT. (By Telegraph. -Press Association > WELLINGTON, Wednesday. It is probable that the Hon. W. Downie Stewart will take the portfolio of Finance from Sir Francis Bell early next week in order to prepare for the. opening of Parliament. Mr. Stewart will hold the portfolio only for the few weeks ensuing "before Mr. 3lassey"a return from England.
