SIR WILLIAM HERRIES.
» WELCOME AT TAURAXGA. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.} TAUTJANGA. Wednesday. A public u'olcome was tendered to Sir William Herries in the Domain this afternoon. A large number of town and country people were, present. Addresses of welcome were delivered by the Mayor (Mr. B. Dive). Colonel Ward, and Mr. H. A. Sharp. An illuminated address from his Tauranga constituents, expressing pleasure at Sir William's return and restored health, and appreciation of his services to the constituency for a quarter of a century, was presented to the guest.
