KIDNAPPED IN SILESIA.
BRITISHER CARRIED OFF. FIVE ARRESTS MADE. (R ceived 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, September 0. A ir.ossage from Bcuthen, in Silesia, states that as a result of the kidnapping of a British officer on the RtafT of the inter-Allied commission. plebiscitory police at Oberglogau arrested five members of the Selbstschutz Society, -who are implicated in the kidnapping. The Selbstschutz Society informed the British officers that unless" these five were immediately released five other officials would be kidnapped as a reprisal—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
