THE TIMARU MURDER.
CORONER'S INQUEST. (Bj Telegraph.—Press Association.) TIMARU, Monday. An inquest was held to-day into the death of Constable Dorgan, who wae shot dead by a burglar in the early hours of Saturday morning. The chief witnesses were Constable Christopher and Dr. Ussher. No freak facts were disclosed. The Coroner. Mr. Mosley, S.M., re- , corded a verdict that the deceased died ' from internal hemorrhage, the result of a bullet wound inflicted by some person unknown. He expressed sincere sympathy with the widow and family of the deceased, and with the police 'orce in the loss it had sustained. He said the family had reason to be proud of the courage of the husband and father.
