JEWELS FROM GERMANY. BERLIN, July 20. Another scandal involving a member of the Holicnzollern family is given much publicity in German newspapers. Prince Leopold of Prussia, an uncle of the exKaiser, and one of the wealthiest of the Hobenzollerns before the revolution, has been living at Lugano, in Switzerland, whither he escaped with a considerable store of jewellery. When in Switzerland he pawned jewels for 500.000 Swiss francs. The Prussian Minister of Finance promptly sent" a representative to Switzerland, who repurchased the jewels. An inquiry has now been ordered to discover how the prince smuggled the property out of Germany.— (A. and N.Z.i
