t ■ I j A DLSPUTKD CLAIM. j A question ac to who was entitled to commission for the sale of a property had to be decided to-day by 'Mr. E. C. " Cutten, P.M. Messrs. toward and Ball ' (Mr. H. Lan Simson) sued Charles William Richardaon and Charles Garnett ' ; Cash (Mr. R. Matthews) to recover £15, alleged to -be due as commission on the : sale of a property. Plaintiffs' conten- I tion was that the property was placed j ; in thoir hands for sale toy Mrs. Ball, ' wife of plaintiff Ball. They handed the ] property over to defendants under an arrangement to pay commission. When the property was sold plaintiffs claimed their share of the commission. The defendants' case was that tihey dealt with Mrs. Ball, who signed the document- and paid the money into the office. In giving his decision Mr. Cutten said he had simply dealt wit- the facts. He held that plaintiffs were entitled* to the amount 'for which they asked. Judgment with costs. Security for appeal was fixed at £10 10/.
