BIG BLAZE IN TOKYO.
THOUSAND HOUSES BURNED. FIVE THOUSAND HOMELESS. (Received 10.30 a.m.) TOKYO. March 27. A thousand houses were burned by a fire jn a populous quarter of the city. Five thousand people are homeless, and many of them are sheltering in the Imperial'gardens and temples.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
