DAMAGES FOR ELECTION.
Fifty pounds damages were awarded by .Mr. .Justice Cooper at the Supreme ■Court, in an action by George Sherman (Mr. Luxford), postal official. Hamilton. : against Johanna Hiihne (Mr. t'a-hill). , The plaintiff claimed £250 damages for ]' alleged wrongful ejection from a house ; in Thackeray Street. Hamilton, and also sought an order for possession of "the tenement. , J His Honor heid that the plaintiff was \ entitlpd tn reasonable damages and : awarded £50 as stated, plus certain expenses and <'o:>ts. So order was made for possess ion of the rooms from which • the plaintifl" had been ejected. :
