SLEEPY SICKNESS.
TVZZLTSG TEE DOCTORS. SPREADING IN LONDON. (Received 9-30 a.m.) X.ONT>OX, January 31. The "slaepy sickness" is puzzling the doctors, and "is showing signs of spreading in' London. Fifty-one cases were -ecently reported in the metropolis. The sickness comes on in the form of headache followed by delirium, and in most cases it is fatal." Those who do recover wear a mask-line expression. In Sweden •203 cases hare been reported. The disease is not connected with the African disease sleeping sickness, but is presumably associated with hiccoughing influenza. It is mildly infectious.
