PETROL ABLAZE.

LORRY AND LOAD DKSTROYKD. (By Telegraph.— Tress Association.) GISBORNK, Saturday. A load of 35 cases of petrol, which was being conveyed on a lorry to I'ahi this afternoon, ignited near Makaraka, and ■wag completely destroyed. It was tho property of the Vacuum Oil Company, and was insured for £300 with the Yorkshire Company. The lorry was also destroyed. It is not known how the lire started. ■ The burning petrol escaped over the roadway, and completely hold up tratlic.
