SMALL BOAT CAmZKS. fRy Telegraph.—Press Association.) MASTBRTON. Sunday. "What is feared to be a most distressing fatality occurred to-day at Castle Point, a seaside resort 45 * miles from Masterton. Four well-known residents of Masterton set out early in the morning on a fishing- eNpclition near the lighthouse in a flat-bottomed, boat. The "boat capsized, and i t is believed the occupants were drowned. The members of the party were: Jvan O'Connor. Clarence Hopkins. R. Bigjrs. tH. Wooding. All were married men. A heavy so a was experienced outside, and the boat was swamped and npset. It was subsequent Iv seen drifting out to sea with three men dinning to the bottom: it was going north" in the direction of Mataikona. when it was enveloped in the mist. It is feared that all the men were lost. Search parties from Masterton and district are searching the beach for the bodies.
