MAILS FROM OVERSAES.

I An Australian mail, consisting of 150 bags, arrived here this morning by the i Waiwera from Newcastle and Sydney. j These will be landed after the vessel has I been passed by the doctor. A large mail jis being brought by the Kaituna, which lis due to arrive from Adelaide and Melj bourne at 10 o'clock to-morrow morning. I She has on board 576 bags, of which j 460 are from the United Kingdom, 7 from the East, 19 from South Africa, and the remainder from Australia. At i number of her bags are transhipments ] from the P. and O. liner Naldera. Upon a i tbe arrival of the vessel to-morrow morning the mails will be landed immediately. An Australian mail of 75 bags is being carried by the iLhumata, which left Newcastle last Friday for Auckland. Sha should arrive here towards the end of the week. The Sonoma left San Francisco on January 25 for Sydney with a large European mail of 1249 bags, including 970 from the United Kingdom, for New Zealand. The vessel is due at Sydney about February 15, but it will depend on the inter-colonial shipping what time the Auckland portion will arrive here.
