STATE AND INDUSTRY.
A WESTRAUAN EXPERIMENT. CO-OPERATIVE PRODUCTION. (Received 10.30 a.m.) PERTH, this day. The Premier (Hon. J. Mitchell, C.M.G-, in opening the election campaign, outlined the Government's policy. Hβ said it ■would aim at the reduction of the deficit, and special encouragement would be given to co-operative effort for the production of all food required by the State. Industrial development would be generally encouraged, and there would be an attempt made to prevent profiteering. The Government would also uphold the untrammelled maintenance of the Arbitration Courts for the settlement of industrial disputes.— (A. and N.Z.)
