THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL
' To-day the Governor-General, Loj4 Jeßieoe, was an interested spectator of the various events of the anniversary regatta, and sailed in his yacht, th* Iron Duke, in one of the Events. By the Main Trunk express tomorrow their Excellencies and family, with the members of the staff will leave* for Lake Taupo, where a camping sit* has been prepared in readiness for their arrival on the bank of a stream called the Waipeehi, midway between Taupo and Tokaanu, on the main road. Some good sport is expected in this neighbourhood.
