CENSUS ON APRIL 18.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WB-J-TXGTO-vT, Thursday. By proclamation gazetted to-day it is announced that the census due this year of the number and condition of persons, live stcxrk and land under cultivation in New Zealand is to be taken on Monday, Ar-ril IS. "In addition to the usual details there will be entered for householders' census schedule question in relation to the following matters: (a) In cases of married man, widower, or widow the number, sexes, and age.*;, of all his or her living children, including step-children and children by adoption; (b) the manner in which nationality was acquired; (c) whether the life is insured and the amount of the capital sum assured (I f : any); (d) the usual place of residence of persons who are away from such usual j place of residence when enumerated; (c) nature of occupancy and rent or rental value of dwelling; (£) in case of households situated outside the city borough or town district boundaries the name of the township or locality in which the dwelling is situated, the post office commonly used, and distance from such jjost office; (g) particulars in regard to bees and production of homey and bees-wax.
