CHEAPER HOUSES.
ENGLISH PRICES DROP. (Receive- 10.00 a.m.i LONDON, January 27. Dr. C. Addison (Minister of Health), In opening the first new house built under the Worthing scheme, said there had been a substantial decline in building costs. In three months tenders had come down f 100 per house, and he proposed to take steps which would, he hoped, accelerate the decline substantially.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
