XO BITER? OX THE MARKET. The downward tendency in bides wae accentuated at to-day's sales, or rather to-day's offering. As far as our inquiries go nothin-sr was sold under the Hammer, everything being passed in. During the oast few -weeks the market has been dull, but to-day's slump marks the lowest point it h-as reached for a very long while. The position is of course the result of the market in other part* of the world, most of the buyers be.ng apparently well-etocked up.
