Matthews, and awarded by the Auckland Cricket Association for the maker of the first century in Auckland Cricket Assoc!- ' ation club matches, has been allocated to ( H. Bennett, of the Eden senior eleven, ; who carried his bat for 93 runs against -, Parnell on the opening day of the season, and the following Saturday increased his score to 104, getting his century a couple of minutes earlier than did H.
