The Governor -General sent the folio-w----ing message to Queen Alexandra on the occasion of Her Majesty's 76th "birthday on December 1.
"1 join with tho Government and the people of New Zealand in wis-hing Your Majesty many happy returns oi your birthday."
His Excellency has received the following reply from Her Majesty: — "Please accept and convey to your Government and the people of New Zealand my sincere thanks for kind congratulations upon the occasion of my birthday.— Alexandra."
