A BANKER'S PROTEST.
l/XVDON, September 30. The Bankers' Association has sent to the Government a strong protest based on a report that a proposed treaty with Russia sacrifices British claims against former Russian Governments, municipalities, and railway companies. Thebankers urge the Government to insist that tho Soviet Government recognises at obligations all such debts and also compensation for confiscation of concci'.-Ons or private property.—A. and N.Z.
