FARMERS' FREEZING CO.

MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS.

The annual meeting of shareholders in the Auckland Farmers' Free&lng Company was held yesterday, the chairman of directors. Mr. S. .7. Anibury, presiding over a fair attendance. .

The report nnd balance-sheet, as published previously, were adopted unaui mously.

Mr. W.« Kayll, T.P.A., was reappointed auditor, at an increased remuneration, bringing the amount to £I.TO.

Mr. Lock-head was appointed shareholders scrutineer.

The chairman paid a tribute to the loyaltr nnd services of the company* staff, and on his motion they were accorded a hearty vote of thanks.

Mr. Wilfred Johnstone thought the thanks of tiie shareholders wns due to the directors for the excellent conduct of the company's business. They had had a tremendous lot of arduous work, and in recognition of their services be moved that (hey be ao-nrdei- a hearty vote of thanks, anil that they each be voted a bonus of fr.o.

The motion was carried unanimously, Mr. Richard Reynolds remarking that the amount was little enough.

The-chairman congratulated Messrs J. Rarugh and .1. E. Makglll, retiring directors, who were re-elected unopposed. Both gentlemen briefly thanked the eharehol'lers for their continued confidence. Mr. Amluiry remarked that since last .'lieeting two additional directors had been appointed, representing North Auckland. The«e geutlemeu were dtstluct acquisitions lo the Board.
