L/ONDO.V, September 21. • For the wool snips "which oponed , to-day. 10,223 nale-s are catalogued, of which 5401 are X<»w Zealand. There Is a fair selection of average wools and a few bales of beet wools only. There wa< a moderate attendance to-day, and withdrawals were oearr. The market is depressed, owing to thethreatened coal strike and the general lnd-uKtriaJ and flnanclaJ position. There ■ was a fnlr demand for hegt wpols, which: 1 wpre 5 ocr oenf below the last closing I rates. The bulk of Hie wooVs offered consisted of shabbier and faulty sorts, which, declined 10 per cent.
