MURDER IN INDIA.
FANATIC KIIXS MAGISTRATE. DELHI, August 30. Mr. R. W. Willoughby (Deputy Commissioner of Kheri), in the province of Oudh, was assassinated at his residence during the absence of his servants by a .local Moslem fanatic. The latter was a convict who had served sentences for burglary jjuL assaulting a magistrate. Three others have been arrested. Their evidence discloses that the crime wae the outcome of the Kaliphatc agitation and the prosecution of certain itinerant preachers in connection therewith. — (Reuter.)
