BRITISH IN PERSIA.
WITEDBAWAL IN THE NORTH. BJEINFOKCEMENTS FROM INDIA (Received 1.30 p.ji.) DELHI, June 14. Perturbation has been caused in Persia over the -withdrawal of the British detachment from Tabriz and Resht. The position has now been strongly reinforced, Beveral units from India being sent poet haste to Persia. The military situation is not such as to justify alarm. (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
